changing wheel studs

Unless cars have changed since the last time I looked at them, that fish hook thing is a cotter pin, it holds the nut which keeps your hub on the spindle in place. You remove that, unthread the nut, and pull your hub straight off.

Then, either keep bashing it and pray you don’t warp it or do something else to it, or take it to a shop with an arbor press and have it pressed off for peanuts, and save yourself from making another thread titled “Help I warped my hubs trying to take my wheel studs out”

anyone know of a shop in scarborough area that has one of these badboys in their shop?
