need wheel stud help

ok i was going to put on my rims and one of the nuts decided that it didnt want to come off. the stud is just spinning in the hub. i cant think of any ideas other than just cuting the nut and stud off and i dont have a problem doing that but i was wondering, is there any easier way to get the nut off so i can take the wheel off and replace the stud and does this mean that my hub is in some way fucked now because of the stud turning freely and will have to be replaced?

thanks in advance

mine had that problem to.
but i just kept turning it till it came off.
and i took out the stud.cuz it was all loose and wouldnt let me put the nut back on.

and i still need to find replacment ones. lol
im rollin on 3 nuts. :axe: :axe:

Hammer the stud out. If you can’t aim put a nut on it for more surface area.

To install, put the stud in, put a bit of a larger nut on as a spacer, then the correct-sized lug nut and impact that sucker in until the head of the stud comes flush with the hub.

there is still a nut on the stud and the wheel still on the car. i need to remove those two thing before i can hammer out the studs and replace them

i hope your wheels fall off…3 lugs isnt enough

just use a powerful impact gun on it. It will either snap the stud or the lug nut will come off.

then u need a stud and a lug nut

where can i get wheel studs?

mopac has wheels studs or you can get ones from nissan.

Ohhhh i have an idea

How about an auto parts store.

I don’t think you can find any at best buy

DuDe, you cannot buy car parts at parts stores.

Especially generic parts. They are so hard to find!

Way to bump a 2 week old thread.

Hahaha I didn’t even look at the date.

This forum is stagnant. This thread wasn’t even that far down from the top.
