Nice job man looks great

Dude, let me be honest. I came into this thread when you first posted and although I was admiring your will to “restore” this car, I had no idea this is where you’d be just a few months down the road.

Seriously impressive.

Wow, great work checko.

This is more than “some” love. This is like a gang bang.

hahah  today we got the back glass in. put the brake booster in i painted yesterday. clutch master is also in and the pedal assy is in. i also primed misc brackets

+1 for “expecting this to end in some half-ass cleanup”

paint looks great, can’t wait to see it come together.

^ lol thanks. my dads been alot of help as well as his buddy who painted the car. when im starting to put things back in, i notice little bits of work that needs to be done to freshen it up ha. like cleaning up wires, removing rusty brackets and cleaning/paining them etc. im gettin ancy but dont wanna rush anything

started to paint up the door moldings/window garnishes and license plate garnish trim black.

why not go body-color for that stuff?

Those parts likely wouldn’t hold paint well and chip up, best bet is flat black like they were from the factory.

I wanna keep those pieces black like they were from the factory. I used the duplicolor trim black paint. It actully holds up really well.

Any interest in selling the green rims?

optional audio council BNIB!

climate control changes. before on top, after on bottom

coin/cup holder in and the optional audio council!!

super cool. idk why but the jdm parts always fascinate me. Sometimes i would rather have a mid 90s car that was japanese made rather than a brand new car… just because of how interesting some of the parts are
