x…

a good chiro will fix all your back pain. initially it may take lots of visits, but once you back in line your good to go.

i personally go back and get an adjustment every 3 months or so.

Disagree, I’ve really screwed up a muscle in my lower left back. I’ve gone to two chiro’s on my doctor’s order, neither of them have really helped me.

There is a guy in Lancaster that is really good. Jeff Grazen (sp). He is the one my dad goes to. He had back surgery and said theguys is great. I’ve been to hme a few times and I liked’em.

i should have said - " in my personal experience"

Something about being recommended to go back every 90 days for an “adjustment” is not right in my head. Go to a specialist, get it properly treated, live life with out the pain or the constant cost of going back every 90 days and coughing up more money that is not needed.

I am sorry but something about someone that could actually cause a lot of issues with your body, by messing with your body, not having an M.D. only “Training” is just not kosher.

I go to Mark…

My family’s been going there for years since my grandmother lives across the street. My dentist used to be their father

same, my back problem resulted in surgery, but I think i was so far gone anyway, only surgery would have helped. I just had to go through all that shit for insurance reason to just get the MRI

I use to go mark too, the man pushed for me to get surgery, and it worked out GREAT. Very very good guy

But he’s on Main St. in Williamsville.

Don’t listen to anyone here who discounts chiropractic treatment. They’re just not up to date on the facts. 20 years ago, people didn’t respect the practice just like they didn’t respect “shrinks.” But any skepticism in the medical community about the validity of treatment actually helping was dispelled a long time ago. Do your own research and make your own, educated decision.

Results depend on the type of pain you have. To explain this as simple as possible, Your CNS (central nervous system) runs right down your spine - if things don’t line up correctly back there you’ll feel pain in parts of your body that you probably wouldn’t associate with your back. You could have pain in your hands, headaches, etc. and they could all be caused by misalignment. You don’t just go to a chiropractor for “back pain.” It doesn’t take an MD to figure this out - it’s basic human biology.

If you are having back pain, you need to identify if you just pulled a muscle (maybe you lifted something heavy the wrong way) or if you mis-aligned your back. Both can be done very easy and unintentionally. A good chiropractor should be able to tell you. You can mis-align your back just by sleeping or walking.

A good chiropractor also isn’t just going to throw you on a table, give you some squeezes and say “you’re all fixed!” He or she will X-Ray your back and show you the results, pointing out to you exactly where your spine is out-o-whack. And you don’t need a PHD to see this in an X-Ray either.

Since most people just live with the pain, their body and back are used to being in that out-o-whack position. So it takes more than one visit to “train” the back to it’s correct position. (again, I’m simplifying.) After several visits, some people are able to identify exactly when their back is out now that they are used to not having pain. Since you don’t need a referral to see a chiropractor, if you feel that you mis-aligned something, you can just call up and stop in.

That’s as general as I can get. Just do not expect to go once and solve the problem for the reasons I’ve said above.

Yeah they are both good. Eh, ther’re brothers and in the same building lol. Either or are really good . I gotta go see Jeff to get my back aligned again. He roxors at cracking backs.

My GP is an osteopath.
