i think it is a guide. even a tensinor… you said you toped the oil and it still remains…could very well be a valve sticking. i think cdn tire has a suliotion…not a perm fix. but can loosen up that… hit some highway burn the carbon. and hope it does not come back

what i say u further do is get a thesescope from a mechanic. and figure out The EXACT location of the tick. then you can diagnose the problem thru. it could be a bottom end…but more or less sound like when u hit the gas its from the top… just check from the valve cover all 4. then go further down. hit up the side of the block (both sides) and check till you can hear the ticccck REallly loud. when u find out where it is. then you know. it could be as small as timing. or as big as sticking valves or piston slap. pin point it and see

how bad is it, if theres a sticky valve? do i just get something to pour into the engine to disolve it?
btw, i’m getting a HUGE loss of power.
i bought all the stuff to disolve all the shit in the engine and lucas stabalizer cause i’m going another oil change today. just to help the engine out a bit. i did a compression test, a dry one and got 120-131-130-135, WITHOUT the wide open throttle, i’m going to do it again with WOT later today. So, for the cylinder with 120psi, i did a wet test, it shot it up to 150psi. so i guess the problem is in that cylinder. but what kinda problem? i’l redo the compression again, and repost tonight.
hmm, what kind of stuff from crappy tire can i get to try to clean my valves? cuz since my clicking increases when i accelerate, guessing it’s sticky valves?
i checked, its coming from the bottom of my engine, right above the oil pan, and guess what, thats where the bottom tensionor is. also, the clicking noise is horrible now, it sounds like a horny frog now. very deep. dunno what it is.
its definitly the tensionor, the lower one, once i pushed it hard on the street, it made that frog noises, a lower tone ticking. Then on thursday morning, went to warm it up, it sounded like shit. Rev’d it a couple times and i realized that the pedal was very firm for some reason. Left it running, went back out in 10 min, rev’d it once more, then it went POP, then it wont’ start again. I can tell it CAN, cause it wants to crank, but i bet the timing and shit is totally off due to the chain skipping and shit. oh well.
