Clutch bleeding problem

When I try to bleed the clutch on my SR, the clutch pedal drops right to the floor, and even after circulating enough fluid to refill the lines, the pressure does not return.

What I think the problem is, is that the fork has come off the throw out bearing in the tranny… so its not pushing against anything. Any other ideas? …and, I have bled both the op. cylinder as well as the other clutch dampening thingamajig

try this…bypass the hard lines leading up to the slave cilinder!! you know the hard line that does a loop by your frame?? trust me i had the same problem in fact most people do with SR20 swap.
hope it works

This sounds stupid but i did it and it works. Look at the clutch pedal see that threaded adjustment, loosen the nut (12mm wrench) and thread the rod out a few turns (towars the master cylinder) i think that’s clockwise. Drive the car like that and then adjust it a bit at a time until the clutch acuates how you like it. I bled the hell out of the clutch and the pedal would still go to the floor and stay there, i did this and it fixed it.

If you think it may be the fork, go under the car and try pushing against the fork. You’ll feel right away if it is off.

Otherwise, have you considered that your master cylinder seals may be done? Take your cap off, have someone push the pedal, and see if air bubbles are created.

This is why I was betting it was the fork… I tried pushing on it when I was bolting on the op. cylinder and it felt like a wet noodle. Thanks for the suggestions guys, but Im pretty sure thats what the problem is.
