Clutch concern/question (Eg civic)

i can haz clutch

You did bleed it right?

bacon = delicious

Make the bitch bleed.

wrd my cackord did this when fluid was leaking from a line

if its hydro it sounds like either master, slave or a line

you need to bleed it dude. pumping != bleeding

the wont be any fluid near the pedal… follow the master to the slave, my problem was a rubber line that had started leaking under pressure. as long as i didnt hold the clutch down too long, it would work ine, but i had to pick the pedal up from the floor a few times

i <3 TurdblownTeg

dude get a slave rebuild… they have it at swerve/autozone… its new orings and shit…

you need someone to pump it, then look while they pump it it prob won’t leak unless its under pressure. feel all the lines for any dampness esp the non metal ones

no taxi ride to work for me tomorrow!

you can use a vacuum to pull the air out of the line

Popsicles are for the summer time

civics FTW

somtimes it takes a while to build up pressure, but the possibility still exists that you still have a bad master. IF you were not low on fluid, and have no leaks anywhere, im going with clutch master if the slave is not leaking

the master leaks INTO the car, look for fluid on the interior firewall under the carpet.

its your master cylinder andy same thing happened to the turd blower got a new one and never had the problem… easy to install and the fluid being murky like that its the seals in the master. i’ll give you a hand one day just pm me

fixed it

thanks again to the Turdblower for the help…

running a new line woulda been $15 or so…

a new slave woulda been $17 or so…

so OF COURSE my problem had to be the $85 master.

after fighting with, and partially stripping a few bolts and nuts…a little blood, little cold and runny noses…it’s good to go, and we were doing siqqQqQQqQ VTec pullz in no time!
