Clutch Suggestions

Clutchnet…have had two of them, used In road racing applications for over 5 years. Took out the first one to install new one because I thought that it was due because of time. Totally good, didn’t need to be replaced. Have it as a spare now…holds tourque all day even after 35 minutes of extreme use.

did they send one revised or identical? and i assume that one worked fine?

They sent a new one but it wasn’t used. A competition clutch had already been put in to get the car going.

91240Stevo was that a serious +1 to ACT or no? lol Im sure you driftbros go through some clutches. Whats the consensus from Slide guys?

I run ACT clutches and are great. Thought I toasted it with a botched brake stand early last year but the clutch has performed great all year. :lol

Call south bend. They will be help you. The ones that answer the phone are the ones that build the clutches.

Have zero experience with the honda market but I have had some bad apple SPEC’s come out of cars before. ACT’s lineup works well with most import selections I’ve installed. About all I can offer here.

How much are you looking to spend I guess would be my question, because if you ask me what a good clutch is I’m gonna send you to the likes of RPS or something and call it a day.

I dont want to really go over 3k between the clutch setup and whatever parts the tranny may need. So assuming 2k max on clutch/flywheel roughly.

You won’t ever catch me putting a SPEC in anything ever again. Southbend or bust. ANy additional expense incurred buying good parts can be considered advance savings in not having to do it twice.

You know I would rather do it right the first time. Super anal with my honduhs lol
