Think im going with exedy. trying to find a 6 puck, stage3? or w.e something to handle 500hp. im not gunna have that much but will be better to buy something that can handle it, w.o out it going BOOM in my bell housing

Thanks :thumb

Check out Southbend Clutches: http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/home.html

I ran them in my probes/mazda’s and also in my audi and I will never buy anything but.

Give them a shot.

Nick

With Southbend it seems like he’ll have to redrill his flywheel, not sure if that’s going to be a problem or not.

Check out ACT clutches, they aren’t too bad.

ClutchNet

Stage 3? C’mon.

Get a clutch that supports more torque than you plan to have.

I am a SPEC fan. Southbend went through a lot of shit after Eddie left but that was years ago.

Ogura? ACT?

Whats wrong with a stage 3? If it’s a daily driver (i’m assuming it is ) you are going to want something that is streetable as well. Heavy, grabby clutches get old really quick in rush hour traffic. :nod

Stage X is meaningless without knowing the application.

That’s ricer talk.

Yeah WTF does these “Stage” numbers come from? Sounds :gay

All I know is that I have a sprung 6-puck and it sucks in traffic, BAD. You drove it Jeff, you should know. Actually Jeff, you stalled the car several times :lmao

:+1 if you have XXX hp on the car, get what’s rated for that and your application. but then again, what do i know? ;D my own transmission scares the hell out of me

Then do me a favor and call SPEC and let them know that their clutches are rice. Stage “X” is the name of their clutches.

Given clutches are rated in torque… :tong

:lol right, see? thats what im talking about

Re-read my post.

Bullshit, they are rated in banannas.

We know the application. I fail to see the problem here, aside from the bitching about the word

STAGE

I’ve reported this thread to the moderator because you are st00pid.

Chris, you’re arguing with Shawn…it’s an automatic loss from the beginning on your part.

I actually got this thread messed up with the other one with the Sentra. Too many posts going on at once.

Taddle.

Referring to a clutch by stage is meaningless without brand/application. The word was thrown out there like it always is. What the fuck is a Stage 3 clutch?
