DA revolver is by far the best self-defense weapon.
For the majority of people and concerning concealed carry, this is DEFINITELY truth. When I lived in the city and carried, my Taurus M605 was my go to carry piece.
For home defense or law enforcement use, I like something with more capacity.
The Judge is my next firearm. .410 handgun FTW.
OC, as noted, is legal, and I’ve never had any real problems doing it.
I’ve never open carried for several reasons, I don’t wanna attract undue attention, the hip holster that came with the XD sucks really bad and I"m too cheap to buy another holster and there are some technicalities with OC that many Police officers do not know or don’t care about(there are horror stories on PAFOA check them out). For home defense i think a semi auto pistol or a good shotgun is best.
i think the glock and the xd are damn near matched reliablity wise. granted each may have it’s features that make one more desirable to an individual but that’s a matter of personal preference
In the house I’ll take the Mossberg 500 with the 18" barrel any day of the week.

45LC/410 Derringers are nice, a lot more practical than the Judge to be quite honest.
2 barrels is the way to go, but this one would work in a pinch.
