Maybe they should study Dion Dawkins. Got covid over the summer 2 weeks after his 2nd jab. Got really sick and ended up in the hospital. Just got put on the Bills covid 19 list again today. So much for his “super immunity”.

I think you’re going to see omicron really explode in the next week or two seeing how it tore through Cornell. This may be our herd immunity shot, especially since it seems far less severe and it doesn’t seem to care if you’re vax’d or even boosted, since a bunch of the Cornell kids that got it had the booster. What scares me is how much idiots like Hochul and Poloncarz will do to stop the spread of something they’re never going to stop.

is it just me or is this article literally saying to get you booster even though it wont prevent anything from happening…
Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker both have covid. Both fully vax’d and booster jabbed. Just more very public examples that the booster isn’t doing shit against omicron.
Last week I had a runny nose and was a little stuffy for a day, but on a scale of 1-10 I think I was maybeeeeee a 1/10.
Did I have optimus prime? Who knows.
Did I take a COVID test? Nope.
Why? Because it was literally the most minor ailment I could experience next to a hangnail.
Now I’m curious though, but unwilling to spend money on an antibody test.

After January if you drive into the hood you can get test kits for free.
It’s a trap. I bet they only give them out at post offices, schools and gun free zones.
Labcorp site says they will bill your insurance, but I am probably going to bite the bullet for my Wife and I. Labcorp site says its $43
I fully expect to get railroaded into 47 experimental shots.

Co-worker just let me know she’s out with COVID (again).
She had COVID in May of this year, was fully vaccinated beforehand…has a booster…and now is sick again.
Her symptoms? She has a headache and tested positive.

I keep telling my co-workers who are like “should I get tested?” - “what level of inconvenience are you willing to accept in life?”
Runny nose? Do I leave work, drive to a testing site, get tested, wait for results and then two possibilities…negative test, wasted my time, or positive test, I am positive for COVID with a runny nose and now need to stay home for a day until it goes away.
This is not sustainable.

I got what I assumed was my “typical” fall / winter cold just after we got back from Philly at thanksgiving.
I never had any other symptoms besides some sinus congestion so never bothered getting tested.
Wife had the kid PCR tested since she was sick before we went and again after and was negative.
Don’t most of these test pick up the flu too and give a false positive for Covid?

It’s worse than that. If you’re positive you have to stay home for 10 days from when your symptoms started. Erie County WILL call you and follow up on every positive test and that’s when they give your your “return to society” date. They never bothered to follow up with my work but the HR manager has told me they have followed up with some of our other covid positive employees. I’m sure with you being a teacher they would definitely follow up with your employer.

all the more reason to exit the system as much as you can.
spoke to someone im close with over the weekend. someone tested covid+ at his work. others did too. workplace shut down for a few days. he tested positive and is now in quarantine over the entire holidays along with the others. no one is ill or has any real symptoms. but life is disrupted nonetheless.
