I have to say that my corporate IT changes that resulted in me no longer getting work email via outlook on my personal phone has been nice most of the time.
Until I’m on vacation and a plant shits the bed and nobody bothers to call or text me so I can fire up the laptop and “help”.
It was so easy to knock out an email here and there at off hours while on the shitter like most good knowledge workers do

I knew I felt our Government and Healthcare were completely screwed up, but this just seals the deal for me on how I feel. Unreal.
Why does our state one minute state they follow the CDC guidance and one minute act as if they have no clue what they are talking about.
CDC guideline for unvaccinated people who have come in close contact with Covid is 5 days with no symptoms then 5 days with a mask everywhere.
NYS says 10 day quarantine for unvaccinated.
Because NY state is still trying to punish the unvaccinated any chance they get to force the jab into as many as possible.
Back when the vaccination was actually working, and there was about a 5% chance a vaccinated person could catch covid and almost no chance they could spread it this was probably a good idea. Now that vaccinated are catching and spreading it just as easily as unvaccinated the fact that we’re continuing down this path of punishing unvaccinated people like they’re the only reason this is still spreading is criminal. The booster formulation adds nothing to account for omicron. It’s just more of the same vaccination that omicron is going to bypass.
More of the same EUA Vaccine and not Comirnaty.

NY policies are great. I heard there is an entire dorm building gat buff state for afghan refugees. Free room/board and tuition for those that want it in a building that was once not allowed to house students. It’s one of the towers off the 33.
I can’t wait to see where NY recovery camps are going to be.

Add one to people I know that died of covid. Coworker’s sister in law. Been in the hospital for several weeks, yesterday they started end of life procedures.
75 years old and pretty unhealthy person pre-covid. Unvaccinated.

There’s incentive at this point of the pandemic to be cautious if you are older and unhealthy, unvaccinated or not, those two things tend to coincide with illness that could lead to death.
I hope that more people start to realize that maintaining their health is important from day one.
My 1 father in law. (Wifes biological father) tested positive around the time we did. He lives in Arizona, huge right wing and non-vaccinated person. He also currently has cancer. He has been in the hospital for about 3 weeks I believe, finally got released Monday. I don’t know too much details but as stated, unvaccinated and currently with existing health issues. But in the clear now to leave.

This has overwhelmingly been the case from the beginning, but at that point it was too late for people to get healthy. Instead I think we slid backwards on this front…had to keep all those gyms closed.

One even mentioned that he was Vax-free and walked it off in two days to the frustration of a super supporter/cancel Christmas vaxer family member.

Same, and have been living a normal life outside of a 2 week shutdown at the beginning of all of the BS.
Well for me, it literally took my 5 month old in my lap sneezing and coughing directing in my face to actually contract covid. Hell, I was even 2-3 day later than my wife when it came to symptoms and I have had him in my hands just as much as she did.
We have lived a normal live all through covid as much as possible. Hell, we traveled to CO, WY, MT, ND, SD during the height of covid without having vaccines present. Even ate at a bar in SD that was fully packed, seat yourself and had to sit with another couple at their table. lol
