That’s good. I’m going to the Glen this weekend, the current message is you must wear a mask at ALL TIMES even if you are watching in the middle of nowhere with no one around you, no spectators, no one under the age of 18. We’ll stop the race if we have mask issues.
Its a shame, because people are skipping the race because they can’t bring an RV full of kids. 93 cars, soft limit of 100, hard limit of 125 in previous years. The fact a popular track didn’t sell out is telling of how awesome NY is.
Best of luck with that. I don’t get why they are requiring them for people in the middle of the field. I can sort of understand seating in the stands as you may be closer and just to not get shut down or anything, they would go that route. But in the middle of the field is odd. I’m sure most of it is just them having to post to make it sound like they are enforcing social distancing like Lake Erie did.
An 81 year old guy who was already living in the frailty ward before his shot had a stroke a year later and died. That’s it folks, recall all the vaccines.
Sorry but this is bs. I understand people want to get as many vaccinated as possible, but the handouts need to stop. This is extra expenses for tax payers that personally is not fair to anyone who has received a vaccination before this date while trying to do their part without a f**king bribe.
No doubt some vaccine reactions are related to a persons physical condition and age. Thankfully, there are millions of test subjects out there.
I wonder if he was allowed to see his family before he died.
When the trial is over, I look forward to seeing how the data is spun in two different directions to support our current camps.
I completely understand why the majority of society thinks people that mistrust the 1st versions the vaccines are crazy.
IMO. The same reason I carry a firearm is the same reason I am hesitant**.
The odds are not zero that something terrible could happen. Super low for sure, but not 0.
I’m sure public safety is surely the only reason to get your customers to shame society.
Home Depot should offer 5 free sheets of plywood to the first 10 people that show up and get vax’d at the store. That’s almost retirement money right there.
Went to Ted’s on Sheridan in Tonawanda. I walked in and was the only person waiting in line without a mask. (My wife being pregnant didn’t want to get the vaccine so she is wearing one) No one said anything to me but it was kind of funny as people kept glancing back towards me. No signs or anything saying you had to wear one so whatever. Just was weird being the only one.
No issues, no enforcement. WGI staff wore masks at the gate.
I wore a mask for track check in, gear inspection, car tech, driver registration, and the 1st drivers meeting. Other than that I was naked. Packed bar at night, some restaurant patrons were wearing masks upon entry.
