Because the law states no red lights other than at the rear of your vehicle. Just like if you have clear tail lamps and run white bulbs, you will probably get a ticket. I imagine the red angel eyes look good, are not that visible with the lights on, but no way in hell would I have them just for the fact it’s an invitation for a ticket.

There is a cop around here that has a hard-on for “decorative” lighting. Neon or whatever it is, you will get a ticket.

used to have neons on my del sol, got compliments from 2 cops… obviously not CPD but clifton park and Albany pd. There illegal I think, not ticket though… now had Colonie seen them on…
