One of the ugliest cars ever made IMO.
What about a Honda EG hatch?
Never thought about it…Might have to move in that direction. Think I could find a teal one with sparks that fly out of the wheels when I hit the brakes?
Cut mufflers, good to go.

Here is the problem with sport interior M5’s, the dashboard and door panels suck. It’s a major problem with most M5’s, you want the Sport seats, with EVERYTHING ELSE from the Lux interior.
I know I said NO to Autos…but any thoughts on an E55 AMG?

The two tone is kinda lame for sure
In that comparison I’d take the M5. That first one you posted just doesn’t look good to me with the add on things.
That car has been for sale for ever
my old m5, rear muffler delete and some other BS. loved the sound, but as far as performance goes and aftermarket support id stay domestic.
Wonder why…
Once you own an AMG car I doubt you will ever regret it. Every AMG car I have ever driven is a cut above the rest. The E55 hands down gets my vote over the rest of the choices.
Mercedes maint. is more scary that BMW and Audi!
How accurate are my fears?
buy a car with a reasonable amount of miles thats been properly maintained, with a well documented service history, and i doubt you will run into any issues for the time you own it.
Hmmm…550bhp and an awesome interior is pretty appealing.
ahem
I dont want to buy from a dealer…They dont car about my wad o cash
I can say as far as maintenance goes. I service all German cars, all day, every day, and Mercedes vehicles only seem to come in for oil changes. They never seem to have nagging nuances. The routine maintenance might be a little higher because of the quantities of oil and spark plugs and air filters are all double the quantity of a normal car. Cost of ownership of a GM or Ford is almost always going to be lower than a German car, but to me it’s worth the build quality. I think the E55 AMG is not even in the same category as the others you were looking at. The problem I have with the E46 and the E39 is that they are very dated at this point, timeless, but still dated. BMW didn’t make an interior I like until the E90/E60/E66 generations of BMW. The CTS-V is a vehicle I’ve never even sat it, but you just can’t go wrong with any LSX T56 vehicle. They have a huge and cheap aftermarket and cost of ownership would be very low. In the end though… if the E55 AMG is an option… it is the only option for me.
