Say what?
like people mentioned before, sell two cars and up the budget. get a low mileage nicer car! http://buffalo.craigslist.org/ctd/4253753943.html
U have a tt mustang?
Yeah bro…where you been?
03 GT TT Stock 2v junk on 7psi…nothing too cool
That defeats the purpose of everything I believe in…excess and capitalism!
I also do not want the same car as my Mother.
So I have found a few cars worth getting serious about…however most of them have a lien…some local bank which is easy…some online loan companies like Capital One. What is the process for buying a car with an Online Bank Auto Loan. I obviously do not want to hand the current owner payment and have a car I can never register because I am trusting them to send me a lien release.
I also know that the loan agreement between the online bank and current owner gives me very little if any leverage to “push” things along.
Get a payoff statement and wire the money directly to the bank holding the lien to ensure it’s paid off. Then get the release from the seller.
I have read a few horror stories on the time it takes to get the lien release…are there any tricks to making sure it gets expedited?
No
I did it for a boat, took about a week. Guy mailed it directly to me. You can still title the car in the meantime (assuming the bank isn’t holding the title), there will just continue to be a lein recorded on the title. BUT, you will have the peace of mind knowing that it IS paid off and that the bank won’t be re-possessing it. Then it’s just a matter of getting the release.
The truly important part here is that you have to be sure that the bank note is satisfied. After that it’s just a matter of paperwork.
I know I know…
What do we know about E60 545i’s?
I think e60holic on here had one, maybe he can chime in. Turbociv’s E60 was a 6cyl but he could give input.
it has a bigger footprint on the road, i didn’t really like the few E60s that I drove. disconnected is the word that comes to mind
Not a fan of the issues and performance of the 545i. The 550i with a 6 speed is fun, but very uncommon.
What issues? I thought the 545 was more reliable than the 550
My dad bought a 2006 550i about a year ago and it has been great. Super comfortable, sounds good (quiet), plenty of power. It definitely uses its fair share of fuel but that is to be expected with a 4.8 V8.
545 and 745 I often see with timing issues and oil consumption issues. Also the coolant pipe, but I’m not sure that was ever resolved on the later years.
And finally…300C SRT8…they seem to be pretty inexpensive compared to the CTSv, the automatic thing doesnt bother me as much as it did a month ago.
Just looking for solid opinions. I also did look at the Jaguar Type S R…seem to make ok power, but I dont know if I can handle the looks.
Way too much $
