Day light problem S14 95 [Solved]

I went to remove my headlight to clean (double side tape for eyelids) them and to change one of the night light. Prior to that, day light were running fine. I changed both side of the night lights and now I don’t have any day light anymore. Both corners are working, the non-working night light is now working but now the one that was working is now defective + no more daytime light. They are not burned. Any ideas what it could be ?

bad connections maybe check to see if you have power and ground. if you do then see if the bulb is touching the tabs properly you might have to bend them in a bit for good contact

i had the same problem, check ur fuses

Which fuse should I verify, the ones underneath my sterring wheel ? If so which on, someone have a diagram with all the fuse links ? Iam looking into the fsm and get get a hold off the fuse boxe description.

Were they fine before?

Real stupid question here…Is your parking brake deployed? This actualy happened to me one day. After changing my bulbs I started the car with the handbrake on (paying close attention to the lights since I just swapped them out) and realized they were not working. Well The dumbass that I am I didn’t realize that the daytime lights only come on after you release the handbrake. Problem solved.

it might be the day time light relay . . i have no day time running lights b/c of this!!

The dayligth don’t work at all. Usually, when you start the car with the handbrake on, no light will come up but has soon has you release it, they come up. They were working before I switch my night lights. I will verify all my fuse. There might be a problem with the connector on the LH side. This might be the cause.

Hehe, not the parking brake huh? worth a shot.

Im trying to make sense of your first post. Whats going on with the night time lights? You say only one is out right? I’m talking about the high-low set NOT the second high beam only set.

If even one of the high-low bulbs is out your DTRL’s wont illuminate. So the problem is likely in that bulb (whick I’m sure you’ve double checked) or the wiring. Check for current to the dead side and see what that gets you. There’s still the option that your new bulb is toast.

I tried multiple bulb and the LH High-low beam is dead. I had so much difficulty remove the bulb from the connector. The wires might be disconnect somewhere. Whats funny is that I started with a RH High-low bulb not working to a RH High-low working, LH High-low light not working and no more daytime lights. I solved one problem but created 2 !!! :x

IT IS THE RELAY SAME PROBLEM~~

It was only a bad fuse.
