I have the line from the power steering pump blocked off but the line to the resevoir is still attached, I damaged one of the lines at the rear end and all my power steering fluid leeked, if I block off the line at the resevoir meaning there will be no fluid at the rear end would the hicas steering rack move freely causing my car to be unstable? Or would it stay locked in the middle? Anyone have a non hicas sub frame? or a delete bar?
Disconnect your Speed sensor. Turn the car on let it run for a second. Turn the car off. Reconnect the speed sensor. Then disconnect the reservoir connector and leave it disconnected. This will activate the fail safe valve and lock in dead center. shitty thing is it would be nice if you have oil in the system the valve may need oil to pressurizes the rear and to lock the rack in place.
