That $10 meal you just bought would be $40 if you didn’t have to tip. Secondly, if we got payed $12-15 an hour no one who was any good at serving would waste their time. I have to tell you i’ve never thought anything bad about you on this forum before but this argument makes you look cheap and childish.
Secondly, I can’t rmember who said it but yes we get $4 an hour and if we don’t make min. wage our employer is NOT REQUIRED to pay the balance until min. wage. It is EXPECTED in our society, actually any decent society in the world that you tip your waiter or waitress. This is my last post in this thread becuase of all the missinformation. It would take me a week to fix this thread. Plus, I don’t associate myself with people who think this way. Fucking retarded.
Speaking as a delivery driver I don’t really care how big the order is, I always care how far I have to drive. If it’s right down the street with out even getting up to 40mph then I don’t expect a huge tip. I expect a tip for wating too long, not leaving the light on, or if you dont shovel your drive way!!

That’s not my problem. The menu says $X. I paid $X and I deserve to eat it. Why should I have to pay more? Because you make min. wage? Sorry, that’s not good enough reason. How about I go knock on the guy next door who owns an AMG and tell him he owes me money?
Maybe it’s good to get those people to do something more meaningful in life unless you want a career in serving other people’s food. On the same notion, there is always something that can do a job. If you don’t do it, some one else will.
