There’s a lot of people in here that seem to have taken the propaganda films from health class to heart. That said, I come and go on the subject sometimes years between a few week “stints” of it.

Good point. I wouldn’t be surprised though. Since I began law school we’re constantly being reminded of the high rate of drug problems among attorneys. I haven’t seen anybody with what I would call “a problem” since undergrad, but I do see a lot of use.
I’ve never touched it. I watched alot of friends get into it and they just totally blew me off on a regular basis to get high.
I never had the urge to try it, I just plainly dont see a point. I guess I “hate it” because everyone I knew that did it pretty much chose smoking weed over friendship so that pissed me off quite a bit. I’ve never met someone that is an “occasional” smoker, always the type to smoke retarded amounts on a daily basis

There are a lot of people out there who smoke daily but not to the extreme. Just a hit or two and they are good to go. Something to get the edge off. Cant even tell they smoked at all. The friends who blew you off to smoke are the extreme, just like alcoholics in a sense. Smoke to get retarded.

LOL, this is true. I guess I should have specified that anyone I hang out with regularly…I do see your point, I’m sure I have met many people like that and just didn’t know. I just dont even care to try it after the conversations I’ve had with people that do it/have done it. I’m just really turned off by the idea alltogether.
This is why I normally don’t bother telling anyone about what I do. I don’t do it to make friends, or to look cool. I just want to relax when I do it. I understand that some people have a negative view of it, so I seperate it from my normal social life.
