"Dont fight it" they say, "pay it" I'm told.

when the hell will nyspeed (edit, I’m really slow this early) get a LIKE button… NEEDED FOR THIS POST

congrats on trolling, you have no life is what I’ve figured out. lol

Edit: anyways, this isnt Offtopic, so back on topic.

Are you asking for a facebook like button inline with the posts? If so I can do that…

yeah, see edit. I’m slow this morning

Anyone else catch the irony in the NYSpeed elite crew calling out Yam for fighting a fix-it ticket (which this isn’t)? Know your shit guys before calling someone out…

Yep no life :frowning:

Usually when people are told not to fight. Ticket. It’s in the CITY IF BUFFALO. Always plead not guilty in suburb

Reading that felt like hitting myself in the forehead with a ball-pene hammer

Actually, the hammer probably would have been more enjoyable

So youre saying you can bring back karma?

Man, you guys get up in arms over silly shit…

Kevin, glad you got off. Sounds like you were pretty lucky in this case, but hey, if you got the time to fight it, then go for it…

Last ticket I got, I just called my lawyer. He went to court for me. No school, no points, reduced to a $75 parking fine. Paid him $200 for his time. Yeah, it’s some upfront money, but I literally had to do nothing…with as much as I’m in and out of town, there’s a value there for me…

You guys give him so much shit, it’s ridiculous. He’s actually a cool dude in person.

I’m pretty sure there’s officially no such thing as a fix it ticket and it’s just at the discretion of the DA and the judge. Sounds like he got off because he got his inspection done and was a decent person in court.

If this is for the ticket I think it was for… I completely understand why. And for your case, it sounds you have a reasonable price on a lawyer too.

Much appreciated… interweb is the place to judge people though. lol

I’m lost. Was the first comment sarcastic or did you change your answer? Not trying to call you out, just not sure which you are standing by.

Man yammy; you really showed the judicial system and all of us.

[sarcasm]nice work yammy![/sarcasm]

One time my exhaust fell off,got a ticket for it,had it fixed and they dropped the ticket. We fought the law and WE won.

An hour and 30 of my personal time + driving and fustration = not fucking worth it.

Stop breaking the law?

You didn’t tell him it was you who lit the fire.

i would like to acknowledge that your grammar and spelling in the original post exceeded my expectations based on other recent posts you have made. it was a pleasant surprise, thank you.

also, fighting tickets is cool. doesnt matter what kind of ticket.

with reference to fighting moving violations in NY… how do you guys fight speeding tickets that you legitimately do not deserve? like no radar was taken and speed was overstated?
