Driveway Degreaser?

anybody know of a local place to get some driveway cleaner?

looking for something to help clean out the garage post SC install

Brake clean works quite well. takes some scrubbing though.

It’s also not very good for the concrete, If you can’t get it clean with quick dry there are a bunch of industrial cleaners out there that will work. Is the concrete sealed?

I heard oven cleaner works well, but never tried it myself

Dawn, some water, and a stiff bristled push broom is what I’ve always used.

Scrub it a little bit, let the Dawn do it’s magic, scrub a little more, rinse.

Anyone have experience with removing rust stains?

CLR! A power washer also does a surprisingly good job by itself you just have to be careful to not blow the surface off.

The floor IS sealed…

I am going to be coating the floor when it gets warmer out, so i will need to grind the surface anyways to prep for that and to remove the sealer

Dawn cleans your driveway?

 sweeping things is woman’s work.

you can get it at harbor freight by the gallon. it works good in concentrate but when I mixed it according to the directions it wasn’t very effective on heavy oil stains.

My driveway was 30 years old and very porous though

I have always thrown kitty litter over the spot, rub in and let set for a couple days. Then sweep it up rise it off, then soap and water heavy on the soap. If rust is also present CLR. Then prep and seal. I would seal my rents about ever 2 years and worked great every time.

Hope you get it all out!

Simple Green works well, also a power washer with the SG!

Is it weird that I only use Dawn dish soap because it’s my name.
