will a 20G comp. and exhaust wheel fit in my TD05H housings? will it help power?
Kind of. 16G variants, 18G’s, 14b’s, yadd yadda use the TD05H cover. However, while the overall size is the same, the inside is larger/smaller, depending on application, to fit the differences in wheels.
So, yea, it’ll fit, but not without some modification.
And yea, I know, that was probably more than you wanted to hear
no that is what I wanted to hear…maybe this winter if I don’t have the money for a full turbo kit go with something like that from slowboy. I have to use the exhaust housing I have since it has stupid greddy flanges
just buy a new manifold too dummy. i would say get an inline pro one but you want to be a puss and keep your a/c
Inline pro can retain AC but if I do that I might as well get a set of IC pipes, FMIC, etc. even if it was just the mani and new turbo I would still need a tial gate, dump and DP made. I just figured it would be cheaper to go with a 20G CHRA and wheels and port my WG and housing than to buy a whole new kit
you have a tdo6 housing dipshit. or at least the compressor cover is. greddy uses their own goofy casting for the exhaust housing.
tdo5 compressor cover + 20g wheel = killer 16g it’s a pain in the ass…the tdo5 20gs you see are NOT tdo5 compressor covers they are tdo5 exhaust wheels only it’s still a 20g cover
Not sure what your asking here. The TDO5H is the turbine wheel/shaft used in the 14b/16g and most 18g/20gs. There is also a TDO6 and TDO6H turbine wheel used in alot of DSM 20gs, taken from the FUSO.
If your turbine housing is profiled for an O5H turbine and is the same v-band style clamp as this CHRA then the exhaust side will work. Depending on what your comp wheel is now, the comp cover will prob need profiled for a 20g wheel. If you have a choice, go with the TDO6H version, easily a 400whp turbo on a dsm.
Hope this helps, give me a call if you need me to clarify!

nate if i call you will you go out with me? haha
By “go out” you mean???
ahhhhh
Yes, of course ;-).

thanks nate. Greddy keeps their turbos very close wrapped and they don’t want to tell much. I know it is a 18G turbo from greddy. they make their own goofie exhaust housing like rusty said which prevents me from running a straight 20G turbo.
This is what I would want done. compressor and exhaust housings ported, a wheel for more power cause who knows what wheels greddy uses(they rate them for 420hp). I would like 400whp so a wheel capable of that. also I want a ported internal gate and upgraded flapper. PM me with a rough idea of cost so I can decide if it would be cheaper to do this or just go with a new set up
aww u need nawzz to break 11’s biznatch…lol
Maybe you should put your set-up in a heavier car??? Assclown.
i would imagine since greddy calls it an “18g” that the compressor wheel is an “18g”
see that is the thing I don’t know. I think the all the internals of the turbo are 18G, but they use their own exhaust housing
and then charge you twice as much
my friend has a sleeper 20g turbo, like what u want to do, and it runs pretty good, i was surprised, feels like it can defintaly go low 12s on a good tune and drive of course
on the turbo I have now I can go low 12’s I want mid 11’s
whats the turbo u have on there now?
Greddy 18G
