DSpec's Spec V

Hello all,
First time here. Great forum and nice to see a local one. I’ll be here a lot. I’m located in Calgary. I am on my second Spec V (2003) first one totalled on Deerfoot (2002–black).
I have been a member at the V Board and B15 Sentra for three years and was the first owner of a Spec V in Alberta in March of 2002.

I am on my second engine on the 03. Butterfly valve took a ride through a cylinder. New long block.

My mods are:
Nismo cams
SAFC II
Stillen exhaust
JWT pop charger (still have Injen but kept killing MAFS)
Hotshot header
UR pulley (recently removed with the new engine-- anyone interested in buying it?)
Nismo lower tie bar
Nismo front bar
Nismo rear sway bar
Nismo strut tower
Nismo brake pads

Rubber
Toyo Proxes T1R
Nismo rad cap

Look forward to posting and learning. I have several years experience with the old B15.

How much of an improvement did you notice with the Nismo brake pads? Do you track your car at all?

Nice DSpec, glad to see you made it over here :E can never have to many Spec’s in one place. and you’re on your second engine I’m on #3 and mines an '04! Anyhow Look forward to seein you post in the FWD section, and see you out to some meets hopefully in the summer.

Kris Lets do it… We have tools at apex that might cut down the time.

(this is assuming he’s selling me his pulley)

Not a chance Kris, with your luck you’d tie them back to back and you’d end up with a FWD tug of war :lol:

heh heh :roll: im kidding, having a car tug of war woudl be kinda funny to watch though.

Tow hooks would be useful. I’d say we should do this, but I’m sure it’s a bad idea.

The Spec has tow hooks under the front bumper. If both cars were in reverse you could have a tug of war. :E

One time I saw on older Dodge diesel and a new duramax chev have a tug of war, wow was that alot of smoke rolling off the tires.
