Evo/4g63 Owners few questions....

I wish I could say that was an option but its really not… I have a pretty well equipped garage no lift but air-tools/ hoist heated two car garage… my uncle offered to let me do it in his garage (he does have a lift but then I would have a 2 day limit as he uses his garage for work.) so I’d rather be able to just walk away at points if I get frustrated and come back when I want. the cars off the road so if it takes me weeks it would be fine.

but ya Paul I figure ill probably start doing it with the member there if It gets to frustrating ill remove it… maybe ill give you a heads up the weekend ill be under the car… and you could stop by, shot the poop, grab a beer I mean pop (as I would never give beer to a minor), and give a few pointers… I have 3 jacks but I can grab another.

i did it in my garage on jackstands w/ jacks supporting the motor… wtf is so hard about it? its not hard, just time consuming taking all the other BS off to get the actual tranny out

edit: get a tranny jack, made my life so much easier. as well as a slide hammer, u will need that to get your axles out

good for you, if you’ve done it already under those conditions then you should be fine.

Evo clutches are fun. I hated that ss clutch line though.

I had no issues doing it at all. Done in about 15 mins.

Very nice piece, coated, and the begining of the line is angled slightly for better fitment (easier install also).

The one I did whent all the way from the master cylinder to the slave… such a pia with no room to put the fitting on master and it came supplied the wrong bango bolt…

Mine only goes till it becomes oem hardline. But I will say that the slight angle the fitting has near the master cylinder does help. I can easily see that if the fitting was straight, it would be alot tighter fitment.
