Hey-
I’m looking for an exhaust system for my 240. If i call anything wrong, don’t mind, Im not a car genius.
I wanted to get 4 outputs for the 240- i don’t know if its called a 4-4 exhaust or what, but if anyone knows if i can do this- and what brands i should be checking out- thattd be great.
I really like the look
oo oo
at the back.
wouldn’t u be loosing “outback burst pressure” IIRC…
:wtf:
I’ve never heard of this being done, you’d need to custom bend the pipe, cut the bumper, that’s if they will even fit.
hey just throwing it out there. i thought it would be awesome. probably lose torque and it would be retarded but it was just a thought. again forgive me i know close to nothing about cars.
:wtf:

Yah Axlerod, I talked to a guy at JPG exhaust one time about my CRX, and i was curious about going from:
oo exhaust to
oo oo like he said
he told me, you’ll loose “outback pressure” or somethin not sure what he means or the exact words for it…
but he said stock is 1 pipe to tips and when u add another pipe the pressure is split in half now because your seperating the power
Not sure about it, make sense? can any one confirm this?
what a waste of time. Why would you want that? All the caviler guys do that crap.
It would cost quite a bit of money to do it. IMAO its not worth it even if it may look cool.
Andrew.
With the IS300 clear taillights, this would look sooo cool!
Yeah I was polite previously, but man oh man. This is scaring me, everyone wants a 240 and now the rice is coming
lol,
Check out A&A Exhaust in Stoney Creek (Hamilton) on Gray’s road. They do custom exhaust work, and it’ll cost approx $600+ for the dual.
Can the 240 go dual…? Isn’t the gas tank in the way IIRC? I was thinking about going dual after going turbo, but Brandon your exhaust guy was probably referring to backpressure loss resulting in big-time low-mid range torque loss.
You will have great backpressure (none)
But you will have terrible velocity and scavenging … and terrible performance.
