So This is not Big Byrd but his friend aka the “goof that went by the mechanic shop”.
First of all I don’t own a 240 neither am I interested in them or this forum. But I just had to check out this post because I heard that was lenghty and full of crap.
Like all you guys I love my car and have had things stollen from me in the past. I was upset and was ready to lay a beating on the guy who did it. That said Mitch is a friend to me and I know he did not steal the rims. I did find out who did and I will take care of him at my discretion as I please. The reason I am willing to do that is not because I care about any of you, your cause or what crap you are going to say when you read this, the reason I will take care of him, is because of him a friend of mine got messed up for no good reason.
I should also let you know (the victim) that I went to go see your mechanic and was ready to jump over the counter if he really wanted beef but he came out and spoke to me in a respectfully and in a level headed manner. I am going to clearify this for you Dan, since it seems like you and Leo like to make things up. When I went to the shop I did not say I was Mitchell’s cousin I told him I am his friend. I did not say he is a stupid kid because he is not. Making a mistake does not qualify you as being stupid. According to “the Mechanic” he punched Mitch once and not because of your rims but because he seemed to be under the impression that he had to chase Mitch and his “adrenaline” was going. Now on to some of your other misconceptions. A 944 “TURBO” will not easly or otherwise keep up to a 500hp 240. Mitch does not need to steal because his house is not cheap. I know its not easy to afford a house in the kingsway area and I have the cash. I don’t know where you get off calling people hicks. You don’t see me or others calling you names even though we know your heritage. You really don’t have to lie and exagerate, no one really cares for it. Its sad this whole BS happened but it did. Mitch got more than he deserved and so will the guy who stole your rims.

Mitch’s car is not 500hp thanks, actually its 400 at best. You obviously are not educated with cars and have no idea as the capabilities of a 944 turbo. I believe 944’s hold many track records.

I too met with Leo because of rumours he was “going to beat my ass worst than my brother”, and it turns out he was a pretty calm guy. So…

thats what they’ve been trying to figure out but all of the guys involved with mitchell directly who the guy is but they won’t tell anybody. GEE, I wonder who stole the wheels? 
Dan, what are the specs of the tires on your rims? I’m curious what kind of rubber this guys runs on his 500whp 240.

i’m against stealing in every sense, have never stolen a thing in my life, nor will i or buy stolen property. with that said, i’m glad you got your rims back regardless of all the bullshit that’s happened.
you’re right, this thread is pointless because you refuse to listen to anyone and give childish replies. personally, i think you’re rude, immature, and very ignorant behind the veil of the internet, especially when you threaten to get your “mechanic” to beat people up. be a man, own up and take care of your own business, otherwise please stop trash talking everyone who disagrees with you.
you keep saying the same thing over and over and over again. we get it. you’re angry. anyone would be. but why be so stubborn and rude? not necessary. then again, this is SON, and everybody knows everything.
My brother has caught wind of the all the verbal diarrhea that I have been posting on SON over the past week and he does not approve. He has shown me the errors in my ways. The camera phone picture of the wheels and Mitchells’ subsequent actions is irrefutable proof that; Mitchell had possession of my wheels; Mitchell had prior knowledge before the confrontation that the wheels were stolen. Name calling and fighting is not going to help anybody. I am lucky that I have my wheels back and thank my brother for that. So, to everybody on SON I would like to take this time to apologize for my immature behavior. I was trying to inform the 240 community of my incident to raise awareness to all its members for the greater good. I got lost on the way to my goal in emotion and pride.
Im glad you finally have a mature outlook on this matter.

I don’t know if the mods will think that this post is useless but there are some things that make me wonder.
How could the rims have been stolen and then sold so quickly to someone on new year’s day (if that was the day they were put on the car). And how would that person know that mitchell would want to buy it, etc. I don’t know but in my opinion, it seems like mitchell stole it. And Jay is just trying to be the mature one whom is trying to make everything seem “fine” now and that everyone has been “dealt” with.
