I played the demo Monza Track @ Onyx Z32’s house, must say I was impressed. Not sure it’s worth the 660 tag though. Not after playing rFactor.
Definitely the best sim on a console thus far. They have the details of going through an F1 season down pat in excruciating detail. They finally made a console game for the hardcore race sim fans.
I’d have to see it, and it would have to support the Logitech G25 wheel to even be considered. rFactor is hard to beat right now for open-wheel cars.
Somebody needs to bring their PS3 over to my house or Rick’s for a real side-by-side comparison.
No it doesn’t support the G25. So yeah, it’s not even on the same level as rFactor.
But as far as console’s go the Career mode is by far the most advanced I’ve seen as far as simulating an actual F1 series. They go into great detail: warmups, practice sessions, qualifying, etc etc. much more realistic than Forza or GT4, or any other racing game for consoles.
