Shot some steel today, need to make it more regular. Good to knock the dust off.

Undecided on this. If you have to bring a gun to the party, I don’t think less lethal is on the table.

…“where lethal force may be justified but not necessarily needed.”

If it’s justified it’s needed. Fire away.

I can’t see how that’s safe. Someone is going to use this in Buffalo in winter and that ball will shatter killing the cop. Stupid

So they’re just going to survive to sue you?

Top notch and so far still the best raffle we go to. Although my wife won a rossi .410 single shot we will never use at rapids last Saturday.

Even the DJ has drinks.

Edit:
When all 3 nyspeeders come next year be prepared. They run out of pitchers early so bring your own.
Got the cigar from the VIP cigar tent.
They have some industrial fans but we didnt get seats there so…

The show went off pretty well and the weather was a little more merciful than last year…but still hot. We did our best to address some issues but anyone who’s ever been in a club knows theres only so much you can do with the people you have to work with.

We implemented some new ideas and I’m sure we’ll try some more. On a more somber note, one of our members passed away the day after. He always helped out, every year unsolicited, and had been there for days setting up. I was actually sitting next to him having a conversation as we were resting Sunday afternoon. Sadly he passed that very night.

Thanks to Joe and his wife for helping out and that kind of help is always very much appreciated.

That sucks.

FYI. When the parking lot guy went to hand me this sticker I was about to grab it and saw the gov and stopped while it fell in my car.

It was a conditioned response because I didnt read it

Update on the gun my wife won at Rapids.
She won a cheap .410 single shot:

Went to the shop to pick it up and of course they don’t have it.
BUT, they will gladly give her $124 store credit or have to order it.

They even have a Pointer PUP for $190 that she can use $124 on…

she said no, just order the original gun and… It’s on backorder so it may never come in and she will get stuck with $124 anyway.

Seems super sketchy to me. How does it work with gun raffles. I know all the shops want the opportunity to upsell etc, but what does the gun club/firehall actually pay? MSRP?

Bro also wants $50 for a transfer fee. We were contemplating buying a gun from another winner that did not want it.
