Yea, Some cops have buisness cards made with all their information, and on the back they will write a little not and sign it.
And yes, I have earned quite a bit of respect with a few cops for being respectfull, and i did that for myself

you arent entitled to respect, respect is earned. you must respect one to get respect in return. breaking the law in some way and getting pulled over in some way is showing a lack of respect. which is the respect of the laws and those around you. take it as you will. join the military, youll learn about respect and where you fall into it. youll work for tons of people you HATE but because they are a great leader, or out rank you or even just have more time in service, youll see respect go either way. its a 2 lane road… but no one, i mean no one IS ENTITLED TO RESPECT. ive worked for many guys i couldnt stand to work for, but i respect them as a person and as a superior… ive seen 1st term COMMISSIONED OFFICERS (O1-O3) get lite up by a E7 or above and O-4s say… good job Chief because the cocky, arrogant Leuitenant acted up. though out ranked by the officer the enlisted guy got praised by a senior officer for the fact hes served over 20 years active duty and the new guy thought he was entitled to his respect… wrong.
I’ve been living in colonie for over 4 years now and I’ve never been bothered once. Even when driving the tinted, no front plate, loud, space ship looking tuner car with a park bench wing. Dont drive like a moron and you wont be bothered.

i dont see a problem with them giving tickets, but i hate it when they talk down to you. depending on your car and generally how you look, theyll think youre a kid and will feel like its their job to play the dad and chew you out right there as well as give u tickets. in my previous cars, i got yelled at most of the time. like literally yelled at. im sittin there going :wtf “why is he screaming at my face? im not deaf or far away” i understand they go thru training to teach them how to use their voice more assertively and with more authority, but theres no need to be screaming at people. i mean, theres a cop standing at your window with a badge and a gun on his belt(which is in your face most of the time because ur sitting down) THATS enough authority to most people right there. i wonder if i could yell my answers back. just full blown top of my lungs HI, HOW ARE YOU? WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM, SIR? and if they ask why im doing that just scream back BUT THIS IS HOW I ALWAYS TALK, SIR! can they give you a ticket for screaming?

Number one…no cop EVER in ANY situation has walked up to my, my families, my friends cars in dozens of traffic stops, and say where the fuck are you going…or anything like that.I think its a bit “shady” of a description.
Number two…alot of times people don’t think they sound like assholes…and maybe they aren’t trying to be but cops dea with people who are being sarcastic pricks. When you sound a little too polite to cops they think your mocking them, for good reason because they generally are.
Number three…if I was a cop and I saw a silver import with shrink wrap driving down the street…
Number four…if it was that unprofessonal, maybe if people started reporting the bad cops when they did something this stupid (if it isn’t exaggerated and I assume it is) the shitty cops wouldn’t be on the road anymore.

I don’t know if anyone here knows the whole story… but basicly my father got into an accident when he was on duty, he was parked on 5s writeing a ticket when some dumb broad rearended him, causing his jeep to crush up like a tin can, his seat snaped , and his head to hit the at the time metal cage. For almost 6-7 years my family suffered because the police department insisted my father take all these tests to prove he had brain damage (which he does, he has memory problems) before they would let him further persue bringing the dumb broad to court. The police department was not paying him because no matter how many times he took the tests and was proven to have brain damage they would insist he take more. My father came severly depressed, a bunch of other shit happend that im uncomfortable to talk about with everyon, we almost lost everything and after 6-7 years of that bullshit. Tony Jasenski or however the hell you spell that cocksuckers name… basicly told my father either A. Drop the lawsuit, we will give you “x” number of years backpay, and you will retire early, or B. You continue with the lawsuit, you dont get any backpay and you retire early, there was a bunch of other shit that went on too but im not aware completely of them.
Our house was up for auction, we dident have a choice my father buckled took his backpay worked for another year or 2 and left. We ended up with nothing to show for it in the end as all of it went to backbills etc…
If my father continued with the lawsuit he would have won, but who knows how long that would have taken and we would have lost everything to do it.
i had a troy cop screaming the F word at me. they dont usually use that, but this dude unloaded a day’s worth of pent up frustration from directing traffic or some shit at me.
My dad got hit by a crazy biatch on christmas eve in Rotterdam, he jumped outta the way but she hit his legs and fucked his knees up so he cant work anymore either. Then the town didn’t even press charges on her for assualting a police officer :headbang

And my father asked him why he was being such a prick, basivly other than the dale earnheart comment, the rest of it had to do with me asking him “Officer can I ask what your pulling me over for?” Not knowing if he saw me run the red light or if he was pulling me over for some stupid bullshit like cops like to do, I have a reason to know why they pulled me over even before anything else
he said I came of as a prick to him at first asking that question, but he said the rest of the way i was very respectful which is why he calmed down. Im not going to report a cop that has my tickets in hand getting ready to hand them in and burn my ass… thats just fuckin stupid
