coming home from work tonight, i ran into a Cobalt SS/SC. it was silver and had really big red fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror. I’m guessing it had some mild mods because i recall seeing a Injen sticker on the car and it seemed to be a little louder than i remember them being (exhaust maybe?).

so we’re cruising down XXXX for a bit, doing the speed limit and he kinda takes off, so i had no one in front of me in my lane so i got on it a little and caught up. we get a light, and there is a SUV in the lane in between us, so i wasnt really sure if it was ‘on’ or not. i creep up a little bit to see if i can see around the SUV. light goes green, i take off normally, hold first out just a little just in case, and sure enough a second later (im doing ~20 mph by then) i see the cobalt come flying by the SUV. so he has about 1/2-1 car on me when i hit it. i spun the rest of first, a little of second, and then hooked up and reeled him in and walked. by the time i broke triple digits (never doing that again on the street we were on, but damn that GTO gets up there fast!) and i slowed down i had ~2 cars, he kept going right on by after i slowed down.

i tried to catch back up after to give him the thumbs up, but never got to.

actually it looked more like a middle aged guy…i think he had a hat and glasses on, but he was deff. at least late 20s if not older.i was actually surprised when i saw him i thought it would be some younger person that would be messing around like he was at the beginning.

but i dont plan on crashing the car. i have to say though, i feel a bit more secure going fast in the GTO (which was sort of made for it) than i did in the Dakota.

when i left work they said on the radio it was 38 out, but in any case it felt a lot warmer than its been.

i dont think so, i was more or less paying attention to driving lol. i just remember the guy looked older because i was really surprised by that when i saw it
