For no reason in particular, is an evo9MR worth the money over a std evo9?

Does this thread have a point other than “oh woe is me, should I shell out another 5k” or “that newman is a retard” because the title seems to imply we should be talking about the reasons an MR is or isn’t worth the extra 5k?

Don’t suppose anyone asked “why”? As in if you want to go fast, buy an 8 and spend the 5k on go fast stuff. As in if you want to be a pretty boy just to say “hey I drive an MR with HID lights and cool knobby things ont he back”, buy the MR. If you plan on beating the ever living shit out of the car, does it really matter which one you get? You will end up replacing most of the parts anyways.

But maybe that’s just my impression of the situation.

i know youve been avoiding the situation at all costs and that you realize u might end up with another nightmare like the 240. But just start modding the elise man. Make it fast as a mother fucker. Youve already got 2 nice cars, dont waste 30g’s by getting another one, its useless, throw 10g’s worth of mods on the elise. In the end, its way more impressive then an evo.
