frame rail patchs $65 Each

I figured I would update this first post as these old style rail patches are not whats being sold. Please keep checking the newest posts with design updates and changes.

Rails are all 16 gauge hot rolled steel with a second 16 gauge reinforcement plate on the inside for lifting the vehicle. These are designed to slide over the existing rails but don’t require any added strength from the old rails to function properly. This allows the installer to either slide it over the old rails for a quick install or to cut and remove the bad section of the old rails entirely. All new rails will come oiled inside and out and between the reinforcement plate this should help stop short term rusting on the shelf and the oil between plate and rail should help with long term rust.

Old rail design.

Once these are sold off ill make more let me know if anyone needs the passenger side as well.

One more thing if you didn’t catch the old post these just slide over your existing frame rails for added strength or as a full replacement.

Hmm, I’m interested in getting both sides. So these should have the proper fitment if I’m replacing the oem frame rails with these ones? Just weld and go?

These are just weld and go.

If possible i would like any buyer to come with the car so we can test fit at least the drivers sides so that you guys are happy. If there is any problem with fitment bring it back to me.

I will be away this weekend but next week I will build some passenger sides.

Sounds good man, I’ll look into it since I need my frames fixed in the next month or so. Thanks for the frame rail fabricating for us S13 owners.

WTB: Rear frame rails, both sides. The ones above/around the gas tank.

Unless you want to lend me your car with both gas tank and subframe removed I can’t make those right now. I use my car and my friends car to get measurements and both are cars are daily drivers.

I will see what i can do later on in the summer but for now I simply have no access to those sections of the car.

How long would you need the car for? I could probably work something out…

1 or 2 weekends. but it wont be any time this month. maybe sometime next month.

Threads like these make me chuckle… I remember why I’ve stopped participating on this forum and virtually every other car forum.
Another person with a CT welder that think they can weld.

Here’s what a real replacement frame looks like.

So whats your point? you live in Barrie you charge more. and mine cover a larger area. Done.

who the fuck cares how the welds look… as long as his welds penetrate who really cares.

Drewce your completely right well said.

Just a heads up i don’t know if you guys noticed in the photos but these rails are all one peace. other then the reinforcing of course. they are only welded along the top where the bend is.

Let me know if anyone is interested in these i can make them up on request.

very nice
