shrugs My view is this, everyone has to have one on the front of their car in Ontario. Yes they look stupid, but we all have to have the stupid thing on the front, so just ignore it and accept that all the cars have the same ugly blemish on the front end and avoid the hassle.

Just get one of those flippy plate holders if you’re that set on not having a front plate…
Reason I’m asking is because I recently looked at a pic I took on the day I bought my 240, before I installed my plates on it, and noticed that the pignose looked really sharp without a front plate in the middle of the bumper.
Here’s the pic I’m talking about. I’m sure some of the Zenki S13 haters might change their mind after they see the nice clean line from this pic:
While I agree with you, and believe this is true for “us mortals”, I doubt that any conscientous exotic owner would allow their front bumper to be drilled for a licence plate. If I drove a Ferrari, I’d just pay the $110 ticket everytime they give me it.
See, now that I’ll agree with, but a Ferrari or insert exotic here is a rolling piece of art, whereas a 240 is a rolling piece of crap… And if you can afford a Ferrari, the ticket costs less than your socks, so it doesn’t much matter.
if you drive an exotic or baller as car you will not get the ticket. i promise been pulled over in my b uddies viper and never has the cop brought it up. its not even in the windshield. but yea it is needed to be out side on the front because its where they aim the laser for their radar guns. most reflective part of your car.
i know many people that have ticketed in ferrari’s, lamborghini’s, and porsches for not having front plates.
It doesn’t matter what kind of car it is when it comes to an office who doesn’t give a shit.
one guy with a GT3 RS made a laminate sticker platefor the front… looks sorta real until you get real close…
either way, even he has been ticketed.
I managed to get away with no front plate for 3 years now…until about 3 weeks ago…got pulled over…cop gave me the ticket but i went right away to fight it lol…he said if i put it on he would drop the ticket…so i should be ok…stupid ontario …front plates suck

My 240 was originally from Nova Scotia. I don’t believe they have front plates there, since the previous owner before me got it before she came to Ontario. When she got here, she had to drill holes in the front bumper and bolt the plate directly on it. The car never even had the black plate mounting thing…
