fuel cut in katy's (ravrkittie) dsm?

is it possible that the factory security system is causing fuel cut on my 1g dsm? it seems as though the relays are clicking when i put my finger on them, the fuses are all there and the fuel lines are connected properly. i accidentally activated the security system that someone had disconnected before (i think i see why now).

any feedback from anybody who knows the car would be appreciated, and whoever worked on the car left it a mess. i’ve pretty much picked up from where they left off and its not really a good spot to be in, but i will get it up and running…

pm’ed you. There should be a fused 10guage wire coming off the battery going the the relay in the back for the rewired fuel pump, check that. I don’t know who’s be working on it since I left so it could be anything.

dude save it. and it was judged by me… i don’t care about the repairs, the car is in great shape… people shouldnt vouch for other peoples cars though when they don’t know what theyre talking about.

that car needs a lot of work, I think most dsm people from rochester could have told you that. its been sitting for how long?

Umm, I talked to you about it, right? The car was obviously a project car to get back together. The steering rack is dropped, it hasn’t run in over a year. While for the motor is just needs its fluids changed and turned over a few times, you cant possibly think other things dont go wrong in that two years of sitting :ohnoes:

With that aside, you got an amazing deal on it, and have people willing to help out on it.

yeah, like i said i figured there would be other things that needed to be fixed. and i agree it was a good deal, and knew i should expect problems going into the project. it will be finished by next tues, and i do appreciate your help and everyone else who has so far. if i run into any continued problems, i know where to ask.
