please try not to have any obligations on wednesday night. see, the village of hamburg court only meets on WED NIGHTS EVERY OTHER WEEK. except for this month, silly! they only meet on the 17th because of christmas!
soooo what the fuck is someone that has a serious obligation ie a final and then work immediately after on wed the 17th supposed to do? probably fail math and then not go to work, DUH! OR you can get your license suspended OR you can mail it in and pay the full amount+ nys fees!

you know what, I’m with the court… you should get one free reschedule, then after that you deserve to pay the whole fine if you can’t show up. pick your priority.

I reschedualed my court in Concord twice, and my lawyer did once… what did the court do?
Suspended my liscense, with out me knowing, 5 fucking times.
think that’s bad? $35 scofflaw fee x 5 tickets. on top of fines.
There is NO LAW that says you cannot reschedule your court day.
The way I see it… the court should understand that the only way they will get their money for your traffic ticket is if you are working… if you have to miss work to go to court… how will you get money?
you dont think its a little rediculous to have the court at the same time, same day every other week? what if someone had work or had to drive their kids to fucking karate classes or some shit every wednesday at 530?
if it was 2x a month, mon and wed alternating or any day of the week ALTERNATING, not a big deal… but some people have obligations, why else would someone reschedule their court date??
yes, ive had a traffic ticket in the city of buffalo, it blows. but, the village of hamburg does = the city of buffalo. traffic court would last until the early dawn if they handled shit like the village does
no, having traffic court at the same time makes the most sense and is what most courts do.
if you care enough then find a way to be there. I doubt there is a commitment that you can’t find a way out of EVERY single week… if it’s so important then you obviously should just mail the ticket it.
i did, but i didnt want to. it means me missing work, which means less $$ which means im going to have a harder time paying for this ticket
and most courts DO NOT have traffic court 2x a month at the same time every other week. fuck, EDEN has court ALTERNATING DAYS AND TIMES every other week. EDEN IS TINY
its their. and i realize its not their fault, but their times for court are rather ridiculous imho
here in Rochester I had to go to henrietta traffic court a couple times this year… always on the same night at the same time. If missing one night of work is going to force you to declare bankruptcy then just mail it in and pay the fine. If you’re doing shift work then just trade shifts with a coworker or something… I think you’re being a little ridiculous here.
LOL I got 3 tickets in hamburg a couple days before the 4th this past year. 55 in a 35, operating a motor vehicle out of class(riding on a permit) and operating without insurance.
I was in a rush to go on vacation and had to run to walmart for a few small things. I hopped on the bike and went for a ride. Female officer got me speeding and I forgot my insurance card and I only had my permit.
I went to court and got 2 tickets dropped, a parking ticket, and driving school.
After all that, all I have to say is that Eugene, the teacher is nuts.
stop being such a pussy lol, i have court at 5:30 on christmas eve, an hour away, just to hand in some sheet of paper. and this is my 3rd time going, where i have had to sit there for an hour just to get the “Okay, come back in 2weeks” and “Okay, we’ll send your next court day in the mail”
3 fuckin hours out of my time 3 times. i must say that everyone there was very nice, and the officer who pulled me over was a great guy and got me everything reduced
