I was just on infiniti’s website.
G37x awd is up. 330hp awd sports car.
Starts just under $40k. I will try and gather/post more information, but it seems pretty self explanitory.
Do you think it opens any doors for this car?
Will the 370z be offered in awd maybe?
Will they steal evo/sti people?
edit: AutoBlog is reporting that it only comes in automatic form. BUST!
Compared to the Audi’s quattro, BMW’s xDrive, and Mercedes’ 4MATIC systems, the ATTESSA ET-S wins hands-down in terms of sportiness and reaction time.
They will not steal evo/sti people based on the price tag and the lack of 2 doors.

price tag is about the same… evo/sti now with comparable features are near 40k
you are probably right. Lack of a manual transmission takes away all hope.
Certainly might cut into audi/bmw sales in snowbelt areas where AWD is prefered.
SAY WHAT?!?!?!?!
Im sorry for not being educated enough about the situation before posting.
There is a G35X AWD as well. I don’t see any AWD 350Z’s rolling around.
I also doubt that a G37X is going to be competitive against the EVO or STI. It is a luxury based sports car. Heavy yet powerful.
I’d rock a G37X if it looks like the G37S over an EVO/STI. I think I’m getting old.
isn’t the g35x only in sedan form?
Yep.
Did I miss the point I take it? Since the G37X is a couple as well, perhaps a 370Z coupe can also be AWD due to the platform?
Is the G35X only a sedan because that is the only way they could make it work?
i thought you meant that they already have a g35 coupe awd so why is this “news” haha i see what your saying now

How many AWD launches until it needs a new tranny?
I don’t see why they don’t make a g37x coupe… I feel its one of a kind nature would stel a lot of evo/sti/bimmer/any luxury sport buyers.
I know I would want one if they could keep it below 40k
the wheelbase is longer on the G than the Z at least for the last generation, I would bet it makes it harder to fit something like an AWD system

Nissan/Infiniti doesn’t make an AWD 6spd tranny…I doubt there will be one judging from the GTR
Ohhhh… my fault, I got all bass akwards because I was posting from my phone and I dint check the link but I remember g35x did not come in a coupe so I figured the g37x would not either…
Well in addition to my original statement… if it was 6 speed, that would hold true for true performance people but idk what market they are really looking to appeal to with that tranny.
and the lack of a turbo lol
