Yea, from what I remember when I met Paul, I’m about his height and have tops… so…
I’m defenetly calling u guys when I am ready to do this; probably this fall/winter time.
Probably nothing as crazy as Paul’s setup, but at a min a 8pt bar, and if you can do a cage that clean, I’ll probably do that instead just to be safe.

Well if you stick to an 8pt bar that is good to 10.00s then your ttops wont be an issue because there is no halo bar.
If you go up to the 10+ point cage, then there are some options as to how tucked up the roof section can be. Ours are on the extreme end of fabrication time in order to go through the roof and floor, but the options are out there. Each one is bent custom to the car/driver, so it stays as tight as possible.
And I’ll get some pictures up of my rear bar section, but its a more low-key setup than Pauls…just a matter of preference, either works.
My thoughts there are really dependent on what Motor I want to put together this winter and how crazy I want to get… if I go balls out like I want to, I’m going to need the cage.
I figured the time and effort to do a cage the detailed is a lot, I know and understand that. Fitting everything to a driver, position, interior, and tucking it in tight just takes time; bottom line. The good part is you guys have the major “kinks” worked out on your own cars so if/when I ask u to do it to mine there will be less suprises
When I’m ready I’ll get in contact and we can discuss all the options and go from there.
Awesome  I know where im bringing my fox when it comes time to cage it. I hear you guys are working some miracles with Steve’s Formula as well I really need to drop by one of these days and shoot the shit, Id like to take a closer look at the fox, and get a pricing estimate for my own car. Nice work guys, keep it up! Looks like you’re definitely staying busy! :headbang:
dang, I’d really like a 6pt but Im a big dude, and climbing over those door bars would piss me right the hell off. Plus swingouts I dislike also! Whats the rule about the door bar? I know I have seen pics of a bent door bar before, where it bends down and makes a small angle halfway to allow more “ass-slide” room to get in and out.
Door bar rule is that it crosses between your shoulder and elbow in your driving position. Swingouts allowed. We can get it as tight and low for ya as the rules allow. If Paul can get in over them with ease, anyone can.
since you can do swingouts, can you make it so the side bars can be taken out with pins or bolts for street driving? Then just pin/bolt them in when it comes time to racing at the track…:headbang:
