Getting a key made from the dealer

How do I do this, it’s a 1992 Mitsu.

I went to lock my v1 in my glove compartment, and it locked fine, but i can’t seem to unlock it :uhh:

VIN…they should have the key code on file…if not Mr Locksmith is your friend…so call your local Mitsu dealer…u might have to shoe proof of ownership…My Nissan keys cost about $6 last time I had them made

shouldnt it unlock with the same key u locked it with???
I doubt there is a diff key just for the glovebox

usually you need vin, proof on ownership and ID

I wouldn’t be too surprised if they don’t have a database with the key design for a 1992 model car. Maybe spray the lock with some oil incase a tumbler stuck? Give the dealer a call, otherwise +1 for locksmith.

Nissan had one for my 91 Maxima
