it’s way too early on to ban anyone. If it wasn’t for the crying, I wouldn’t have noticed it was a “network wide” thread. I hit new posts on the Pittspeed site and this pops up like a thread from last week.
Oh wait sorry, it’s not a ban it’s only losing privileges on the network wide threads… so is it being banned from the network wide threads, kinda reminds of being grounded?
I haven’t seen anything out of the Pittspeed ordinary here yet… actually this is so far more like a soft limp Pittspeed thread so far. Only real difference from network wide vis that no one’s really replied to 1/2 of the antagonizing posts from the other side of the board… although it may just be a matter of time and then all characters that make Pittspeed what it is will be perma-blinded.

Before the merger, you guys were warned. We will make fun of you. and there isn’t a single pittspeed member who doesn’t mind a nyspeeder to return the favor (if they do, it’s either gillbot or some noob). You guys said “oh it’s ok… we don’t mind, it will be fun.” That exact scenario happened. Except the nyspeeder got his/her feelings hurt and tucked tail and ran, and cheeks was punished for it. and now a nyspeeder has done the same thing to us, and we are just suppose to take it in stride.
At first, I was all about this merger. Now it’s clear on what’s happening. You guys get to make fun of us, we aren’t allowed to make fun of you, or else we get banned or “restricted”.
Either allow the forums to make fun of each other, and make the assumption that we are all somewhat mature enough to realize that this is just the internet (we have been practicing this on pittspeed for years), or just don’t allow it at all. It is that simple, black or white. Do not leave a “grey area” and say some trash talking is allowed and some isn’t, because it was already determined who is allowed to talk trash and who isn’t.
