I agree with foz… banning cheeks from the network section, oh wait… i mean “restricting him” was a power move to show who is the dominant forum.

Before the merger, you guys were warned. We will make fun of you. and there isn’t a single pittspeed member who doesn’t mind a nyspeeder to return the favor (if they do, it’s either gillbot or some noob). You guys said “oh it’s ok… we don’t mind, it will be fun.” That exact scenario happened. Except the nyspeeder got his/her feelings hurt and tucked tail and ran, and cheeks was punished for it. and now a nyspeeder has done the same thing to us, and we are just suppose to take it in stride.

At first, I was all about this merger. Now it’s clear on what’s happening. You guys get to make fun of us, we aren’t allowed to make fun of you, or else we get banned or “restricted”.

Either allow the forums to make fun of each other, and make the assumption that we are all somewhat mature enough to realize that this is just the internet (we have been practicing this on pittspeed for years), or just don’t allow it at all. It is that simple, black or white. Do not leave a “grey area” and say some trash talking is allowed and some isn’t, because it was already determined who is allowed to talk trash and who isn’t.

After skimming through the threads and seeing what the hub-bub is about, it does appear that the pitspeeders were dicksmacked by the northern overlords here. Doesn’t like a fair 2 way street was implemented, just a take it in the ass pittspeed one way alley.

If your “view” is so libretarian, then why are you allowed to crack on pennsylvania (for being hillbillies on ls1 john deeres), but cheeks is not allowed to crack on buffalo, ny (for being absolutely worthless, besides the introduction of buffalo wings). One side is favored more than the other.
