WOW!

haha what a tard

Just a huge scoop to slow the car down. Gay lol.

looks awfully nice otherwise. sheesh

hell with a box that big, i wouldn’t doubt it if he could fit a window air conditioner in there and blow 50 degree air over that thing all day

is it an icebox?

^i was thinking AWIC, but doesn’t say anything in the auction, nor can you tell from eng bay shot - tho i didnt look too closely.

It Looks stupid but
im sure it helps with cooling on high boost.

LOL

in the thumb nails, I thought it really was a air conditioning unit

it says its just a regular air to air with “custom ductwork”. So i’m assuming its just sheet metal to scoop the air into the IC. although it looks way overkill. it would probably work well if the IC was more in the engine bay, like an FD or something.

Common. Is he for real? Stupid shit…

i thought it was a window mount ac unit as well. it looks like it might not be too bad if that thing wasn’t protruding from the front of the car.

its definetly just some sheet aluminum welded to the front… which does 0 for efficency of it…

not true. the ducting will actually make a pretty big difference.

but come on that setup fucking blows.

GT42? He’s only making 580 WHP on race gas. Layzie made way more than that with a 35r.

You mean to tell me there is someone out there who doesn’t know how to tune a car?? Ridiculous!!

the ducting wouldnt make that much of a differance on a properly built front bumper acting as a duct though… he could have achieved the same thing with the FMIC fitting 100% into the bumper with some rubber gaskets where the two met…

his choice to make that sheet metal duct looks retarded and could have been achiceved otehrwise… its not a full blown dragster it looks like a “street” car

i don’t think it’s the tune, it’s just a stupid setup. His internals or w/e are probably limiting his power output, so why not choose the turbo to match? I can’t see using that massive turbo unless you are going to push enough CFM to make it worthwhile.

IDK at what manifold pressure in that setup that knock would set in, but i am sure that’s going to stop him well before he maxes out a large a/r 35r or even GT40r. Unless he is planning on running alternate fuels or a TON of methanol, it seems pointless.
