Not necessarily. You are required to attend a department hearing where they may suggest one of the following.
1)That the person be required to attend a driver improvement school.
2)That the person undergo an examination as provided for in section 1508.
3)That the person have his driver’s license suspended for a period not exceeding 15 days.
