I have heard that the helms manual has the wrong firing order - double check against the FSM.
Its the correct order Im 100% positive. I wrote it down before we touched anything on the car and ive double checked from multiple sources.
Go to honda-tech and search the hybrid forum for “won’t start”, and go through each thread. I’m sure you’ll find the answer there (which is probably what you should have done in the first place).
the distributor may “look” ok but the ignitors can fail without warning. If you have your stock civic dizzy sitting around, pull it apart and see if you can swap them, I am pretty sure those are interchangeable
well something is causing the eletrical current to stop at the end of the dizzy. If you are not getting current from the cap to the wires, you have to go into the dizzy and see if the current is correctly flowing thru the button to the contact points on the cap. once you have determined that the current is flowing thru the button to the cap, you have to check why the dizzy is not producing electical current, which would make me think it is the wiring.
Trust me ive been doing that, Im gonna pull the distributor apart and see what I can find.

It’s not an ignitor. Already swapped with a known good one. I have a tach reference at the ecu and on the scan tool, coil resistances measure to spec. I’m not sure what happened with this car I only know it’s been a pain in the ass. I’ll know more tomorrow.
