everythings ready to go man, its all back together i finished all the wiring last night but the crank sensor didnt fit so i had to switch them, thats got to be the reason it wont start.I wired everything the way it was supposed to but that crank angle sensor didnt clip the the other clip so i cut off the one on the block and put the one from the civic on it and it was a 3 wire insted of a 2 wire so i left the middle black wire out and taped it off and matched up the blue and white. Still no go.
Ill give you a call tomorrow man. I just need to get ahold of gary because i know he put an obd2 gsr in his wifes 98 ex like mine so if anyone knows it will be home
aight i also need to pick up those rear brackets and my stands and my jacket haha i leave soo much behind
also i will look up the black its normally the ground … just by going off of wire colors but i will find out

the motor wont start without crank angle sensor
you can bypass that by jumping a wire from the distributor to the ecu so it uses that as a reference
thats the plan if its not what i think it is.
Something just isnt right with all this shit, a simple motor swap shouldn’t take 3+ weeks to complete. There is nothing left to do, all the sensors are plugged in and wired in properly.All the grounds are solid and in place. The battery is fine. The starter is fine. The car has gas in it. The ecu is plugged in and ready.
If I cant get this car to move by tomorrow night, it will be parted out and sold. I cant go months at a time with out a car over such stupid shit that in the end will never be worth it.

just cause you have the sensors doesnt mean they work. The car is not starting because the ecu doesnt know where the motor is at. One of your sensors are bad, period. The car is turning with fuel and spark but no starting. Your ecu, spark, fuel and timing are all correct I assume which shows you that your sensors are faulty. You may have them wired right but it does not mean they work properly. I would suggest replacing your sensors and trying over.
No matter what the car is 96+ and newer, they will not run properly or even start if your sensors are bad, go after your cam and crank position sensors.

just cuz a sensor is bad isnt the only reason its not starting andy.
he took the swap out of a running car.the sensors dont go bad because the motor was taking out. his wiring is bad somewhere.its his first time wiring a swap, i bet something is wrong.
we will find out when he gets someone to check it out
was the motor running properly in the gsr?
it had vac leaks and little bullshit but it ran fine, ive seen it run in person a couple times.
yes the car was running fine before it was pulled. It did have a vac leak like breetime said but i fixed that while the motor was out. I wired everything the same way as i researched it.
sensors can shit the bed for no reason, happens all the time.
The problem sounds to me is “too many chefs ruin the soup”.
To many people have worked on this car from the posts on here, and I wonder what work was really done and if it was done properly. If the wiring is wrong or if the grounds are messed up this can also cause cause sensors to burn up or become faulty. Good luck.
thanks dude. Ive done all the wiring on the car. The only things that have been done by other people are the axles/ shift linkage and putting things back together. I have hooked up all the sensors, grounds, wires coolant hoses etc.
all the sensors worked perfect before the swap i doubt its that , but i cant figure it out.
the motor ran fine when it was in the integra.knocksensor?

what was the problem?
^ injector wiring was fucked up and the tps and the map wiring was mixed up
