Cliff notes is that you can take your IS-F to the track then load your performance into GT5 to watch replays or race against your real life laps in the game.
Unfortunately it sounds like it is only setup to work with the two cars which come with the denso GPS system right now.
Damn cool idea, over time this could be real fun if they expand it to other systems and cars.
Read about this the other day. I just can’t see how the GPS can be accurately calibrated, but I am sure they have that resolved.
This type of technology has so much potential. Imagine F1 gps data + telemetry being encoded and imported to the game. You can basically replay all the races virtually. Other sports like Football can also do the same.
So we can redo that race so Earnhardt Sr. wins and J. Gordon dies? :lol
I do think this is a neat idea tho.
This is gonna be awesome when it comes out in 2015, cant wait!
