terrible game. theres isnt a single thing that forza hasnt done better, in half the time, with half the money, a year ago…
im very dissapointed in this game… all sounds are terrible… which is huge for me… one boost and bov noise for every car? epic fail
and the driving is like need for speed shift… i bought a ps3 2 years ago FOR this game… and am now selling it.

I also agree, GT5 sucks for the hype and 5yrs in the making. I will probably sell my PS3 because this game sucks for what was expected.
Forza3 is better for car enthusiasts that love to tune, do motorswaps, turbo charge NA engines, change air pressure, brake pressure, change rims on every car, MUCH more selection on AERO, and every car has in-dash POV compared to 20% of the cars that can do that in GT5.
Forza4 looks like it will kill shit, but I’m uncertain about the Kinect feature…
Haven’t tried drifting in GT5 yet…

the game sucks…same as the others…even the game play seems rough compared to forza…
kinda fun, but gets boring fast…not enuff options in aaaannyyy aspect whether it be tuning to overall parts selection.
not enough detail to be a true simulator, forza 3 came out a year ago after not even 3 yrs of development and shit loads all over this game
…it seems like they spent most of the five years hyping the game rather then actually making it…slidin is alright tho…it is in any game if u ask me

ps: fuck… built my self a s15… but… its too hard to control at the moment… maybe i should put on some hard racing tire… i wanted it to drift eazy so kept my street tire hard instead… but this thing just wont stay on the ground… god damn it.
if i wanted to have more grip in the front and less in the back what kind of camber should i run on this? so far i have super negative camber on it. makes it look almost like a vip cars from japan.
you have to weight reduction, and you also have to chassis stiffin and all that other shit…

Only reason cars are hard to control on GT is because the controller input physics? suck. It’s seriously annoying as fuck. Don’t know if that makes sense, all I know is that GT is a whole different monster once you’ve played it with a G25, with clutch enabled, full 900*, no ABS, no aids. It’s amazing. That being said, I’m still disappointed at how they made only some cars look pretty and the rest look like awesome shit… most of the cars that look like shit are the ones I’d want to drive the most… all those old school Nissans, and other Imports.

and yes i do use g25 with clutch. but how do i get full 900" (im on a pos 13inch tv for my g25 so i cant really read anything unless i get reaaaally close to it like a blind man, since i dont have a clue where R button is on g25.

Yea anyone playing with a controller isn’t getting anything out of this game. You don’t buy a game like this and then sit around with a fuckin controller and expect it to be realistic. Seriously!
I m running my wheel, with the wheel settings on simulation and everything else on simulation with the abs and trac and all that crap off, and my version of my 240 in the game feels similar to my real version.
This game is very realistic yet fun compared to anything else out there. Graphics for the 240sx are shit though.
If this still isn’t realistic enough for you, then go and get a iracing account and explore a real simulator.
If you’re not using a G25 or a G27, go home.
