I have a tuned S15 as well (~388 HP). Iām drifting on N1ās (comfort, hard). Still doesnāt drift exactly the way Iād like it to, but itās getting there.
Been doing a bit of drifting in ~250hp S13/S14ās, as well as a 300ZX. Picked up an M3 CSL, which will drift if you want it to, but also grips. Such a badass car.
The Ferrari 512BB is also quite good ā lotās of good old fashioned oversteer.
I spent millions on a G27 for GT5 even though the game is pretty shit. Driving dynamics feel amazing with the wheel, very realistic imo.

Not really. The game is shit, the driving dynamics are good. That would make it a good driving simulator. A game needs more than just good handling physics. Forza 3 is a much better game.
Never played Forza 3, always been a gt fan and I like gt5.

Yeah I figured youād say that. It is true, although Iād expect most people on here (or any car forum for that matter) to enjoy drive > changing rims on cars, escaping virtual police, etc.
For me GT5 is not only entertainment (game), but a chance for me to increase my driving skills (simulator) win/win.

Yah the special events are really hard. The only easy one are the go kart ones

The overtake challenges are one of the best parts of GT5.

I played it today at my friends house, itās pretty sick. I gotta grab it soon and maybe one of those wheels for christmas for sure. Hibernate with this over the winterā¦ I was happy the FD was atleast a premium car.
zero point in getting the wheel if your going to use it on your couch or Computer chairā¦ gotta get the whole set upā¦
FD is fun , until you do every mod, then its uncontrolable
