The ticket can be amended in court, if your make, model, color, description of vehicle were at all right, they can change it to correct the license plate number. It doesn’t get you out of the ticket, so…

All thats on the ticket is “Subaru” and the incorrect license plate. Model/Color aren’t listed.

even a moron like yourself should have realized that. to even get a hearing to get it dismissed, you have to give them all your info. if they realize that YOU got the ticket at THE SAME DATE AND TIME on the SAME TYPE OF VEHICLE, they wouldn’t simply dismiss the ticket because of a typo, which i’m sure would have been a minor one. it doesn’t work like that.

I was the one that found the post. It has since been flagged for removal, and removed. Go on Buffalo Craigslist and look under the wanted section. There are still 3 posts in response to the request for a handicap tag.

I do see where you guys are coming from, I didnt notice the license plate error because I set the ticket down and didnt bother with it until it was near-due. (As is recommended in the recent what to do with a ticket thread, it says to hold off long as possible.)

I am also wondering how you got this ticket taken care of so fast. As of 11/3 you did not say anything about finding this huge mistake on the ticket and sending it in to get thrown out. Let’s say you found that error at night on 11/3, then send in the ticket in the mail as you said… it would be picked up by the mailman on 11/4 and if you are lucky delivered to the city on 11/5. There is not chance in hell the city looked at your request on 11/5 and sent you back a letter or anything saying your ticket has been dismissed, and have you receive this proof by this morning at 10AM.

I think people would enjoy it more if you didn’t feel compelled to post at all, so giving you a reason to reply would be counterproductive.
