ya, i had this orange sealant on my exhaust manifold for 2 weeks at one point, no gasket at all, works great, no leaks whatsoever
thats what i used in the first place. i have a whole set of left hand bits

wow that sucks then, looks like you might be pulling your head
canadian tire sells an easy out set that has a built in drill bit, its 50 dollars i think, i had to use it when i broke a stud off my on my ka…worked great!
i think someone suggested or maybe not, drilling a smaller hole straight thru and forcing a flathead or a smaller bolt inside and using it as kind of and extension to remove it?
The point is since the easyout is broken off, it is next to impossible to drill thru the easyout without a drill press as it is extremely hard metal.
exactly. ill take my head off when i can afford an aftermarket head gasket and head studs among other things. ill just have to live with it for a few months
Yeah, the easy out is hardened for sure…uh. You could see if you can get a small carbide end mill. At 2000rpm, those will cut through wolverines claws.
Seriously though, thats probably your best bet for getting a hole through that. When I break a tap at work, thats what I do.
